Film/TV Composer

Ally Fiola is a Nova Scotian film composer and saxophonist. Collaboration and storytelling provides Ally a creative framework that she values immensely, having worked on films across North America and Europe. She is a board member for the Screen Composers Guild of Canada, received her Masters in Film Composition from Kingston University in the United Kingdom, and was nominated for the prestigious 2022 Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards. Most recently, Ally attended the La Napoule Canadian Artist Residency to compose a Canada Council funded orchestral piece exploring the effects of climate change on coastal communities, and is shortlisted as a composer for the 4th iteration of the Animation Career EXCELerator program.
