Rohan Roy aims to bring together several improvisatory styles of music from all over the world presented through a progressive contemporary western soundscape. The ensemble includes artists from four countries having distinct musical cultures China, India, Kurdistan and Canada - however the presentation would include the blossoming of improvisatory techniques as the common thread between these unique artists. The concert would present a musical dialogue between each featured artist who would present a distinctly flavoured classic composition true to their musical orientation with Rohan playing the contemporary western counterpart.
